Betty is a 5.5 year old and 51 pound dog who is looking for her forever home. She is an easy going gal that likes nothing more than to cuddle up next to you and get pets. She definitely thinks she is a lap dog and often greets strangers by trying to crawl into their laps and give them kisses. She has a great moderate energy level- which means while she will benefit from a good walk and/or play session each day, she has the ability to settle quite nicely next to you. The staff and volunteers are falling head over heels for this sweet gal and know she will make her next family very happy!

Adoption Process: At 9:00 am each morning a link will go live at sspca.org/dogs above where you can schedule an appointment to come down to the shelter that day to meet an available animal. Animals pictured on this page may be adopted prior to your appointment time. Shelter staff will let you know when you arrive what animals are still available to be adopted and any special considerations the animal might have. Only one animal may be met with per family, per day. Once you have finished a counsel and a meet-and-greet, you will be able to adopt!
