Sacramento SPCA Pet Of The Week: Naga

There are big dogs, and then there are BIG DOGS, and Naga is a BIG DOG. This Central Asian Shepherd is 118lbs and it isn’t because he’s chunky. We’re talking mini horse big! We don’t see this breed very often at the SPCA, and we want to make sure Naga finds the right family! Unfortunately he is not a fan of other animals, so he’s not going to be a dog park or Yappy Hour kind of dog. He is very strong and walks end up being him telling you which way he wants to go. First time dog owners, this is probably not your guy. But if you have experience with this breed (or similar large, strong, guardian-types) and find yourself without a human-sized fur friend leaning against your leg, then Naga is waiting for you!
