Sacramento SPCA Pet of the Week:

Croquet is a 2 year old, former momma cat looking for her forever home. She is a sweet, gentle soul who enjoys pets and naps. When Croquet knows she has a visitor, she will come down from her cat tree and sit right next to them. She has a soft purr will happily hang out near people or in their laps as long as they want! She has such a sweet disposition that it's easy to spend time with her. Croquet even knows how to bring out her inner kitten - she loves wand play. We don't have a history of her living with dogs or kids, but she could do well with a slow introduction. She is currently house with one of her adoptable kittens(Tag) and has been an excellent mother.

Tag is a 4 month old kitten who is looking for his forever home. Just look at that adorable face and tiny goatee! This little guy is very curious and enjoys wand toy play. His favorite place is snoozing atop his cat tree. Tag also loves it when his visitors bring him a treat or two!

Both Croquet and Tag have tested positive for FeLV. FeLV positive kitties can sometimes live normal happy lives but are at risk of developing illnesses related to this virus. They should be indoor only and receive regular vet checkups. If there are other cats in the household they should be vaccinated against this disease. As part of my adoption, my new family can receive a complimentary FELV test and initial vaccination series of the FELV vaccine for up to two resident cats in the family!
