Sacramento SPCA Pet of the Week: BMO!

Are you looking for a new furry family member who will bring joy and love to your life? BMO is your gal! She is a 6-year-old 12-pound cat. While she is mostly blind, she still enjoys looking out the window and feeling the breeze in her face while she lounges on her cat tree. Another fun fact about BMO is that she is deaf which makes vacuuming around her a breeze. Being deaf and mostly blind doesn't stop her from playing with her wand toy and favorite catnip mouse toy. She will have a small burst of energy, but after play time she will settle down for a nap on her heated blanket.

Name: BMO

Animal ID: 55398519

Breed: Domestic Longhair mix

Age: 6 years

Gender: Spayed Female

Adoption Fee: Sponsored

BMO has been sponsored by a loving fan. That means she is free to adopt!

***BMO is currently in a foster home and not at the shelter! Please contact catfosterrescue@sspca.org if interested!****

BMO has signs of chronic upper respiratory infection (UTI) so would benefit most in a calmer style home. Diagnostics done in shelter for her Chronic UTI have not found the underlying cause of these. BMO will likely always have intermittent congestion and eye discharge. Regular checkups with your family veterinarian are recommended.

She has not met other dogs or cats but will need a very slow introduction due to her needs. Older, calm children may be better suited for her as well.
