Local Animal Shelters Are Overflowing - Here's How To Help

posted by Heather Kemp -

Every pet deserves a place to call home.

Sacramento animal shelters are overwhelmed by the amount of dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, etc they have and are looking for the public's help.

Front Street Animal Shelter is offering free adoptions through July 8 to find rescue animals a forever family.

The Sacramento SPCA is having $5 adult cat adoptions through the end of July.

The SSPCA also has an Amazon wish list page that it accepts donations through.

Free Adoptions through July 8th

Free adoptions to help homeless animals find freedom and happiness <3 We’re already overwhelmed with pets, and it will only get worse after the 4th of July. So we’re waiving adoption fees for all pets through July 8th, thanks to Best Friends Animal Society! Owners can also reclaim their lost pets for free (except for investigations and medical cases)
