Department of Motor Vehicle's offices in Auburn, Carmichael, Davis, Rocklin and Turlock are offering expanded business hours to combat long lines.
Customers can enter the offices at 7 a.m. now on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Wednesday hours will still be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
DMV recently expanded Saturday hours as well. Beginning in August, offices in Fairfield, Folsom, Lodi, Modesto, Roseville, Sacramento, Tracy and Yuba City will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Making an appointment before heading to DMV is still highly recommended.
