Over the last several weeks, videos of police from around the country lip syncing to catchy tunes have gone viral.
On Monday, the Sacramento Police Department finally took part in the lip sync challenge and posted a video of officers singing the Will Smith classic Summertime.
Scenes were shot at landmarks all around town including the Oak Park sign, the Capitol and on the river in Old Sacramento.
The lip sync challenge started in Norfolk, Va. earlier this month as a way for police to show off their goofy sides and garner some good will in the community they serve.
Sac PD's video has had over 10,800 views on YouTube and 7,000 views on Facebook so far.
