Carr Fire Has Now Burned 80,000 Acres With Only 5% Containment

The Carr Fire continues in Shasta County with the blaze growing to 80,906 acres, 5 percent contained Saturday morning, according to @CAL_FIREThe acreage has nearly doubled since Friday morning. 

500 buildings have burned down with another 5,000 threatened. Thousands of people have been evacuated. Two firefighters along with two young children and their great grandmother have died, raising the total to five dead.
