Guy Fieri came to Northern California over the weekend with the Salvation Army to feed those affected by the state's deadly wildfires.
The celebrity chef and television host posted pictures of himself in Redding, where locals are dealing with the highly destructive Carr fire that has burned over 100,000 acres of land and killed at least six people.
In the post he credits a chef from Redding's Sheraton Hotel for making huge batches of pasta salad and coleslaw.
“Chef James from @sheraton_redding stepped up HUGE with pasta salad and coleslaw for 1000 people for lunch and in for another 1000 tonight. Real deal!!” he said.
Fieri and his son Hunter fed fire crews and displaced residents with a team of 20 people.
