A man died after falling from a parking garage in Lodi on Tuesday night.
The 63-year-old unidentified Asian man was leaning over the edge of the garage to take pictures of the cityscape when he lost his footing and took a 40-foot plunge.
Police responded to the scene at Pine Street and Sacramento Street around 7:15 p.m. and found the man laying on the ground with significant injuries.
Next to the man was a digital camera containing photos of the Lodi Arch, railroad tracks and the downtown area.
He was taken to a hospital, but didn't survive his injuries.
