The missing high school student police have been searching for since last Wednesday was found safe in Stockton, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.
The 16-year-old's family reported her missing over a week ago. Investigators believed she was with 25-year-old Phillip Maglaya, a volunteer wrestling coach at Franklin High School - the school she attends.
After receiving an anonymous tip, police found the young woman at a house in Stockton and brought her home to be with her parents.
Maglaya was also there and was taken into custody.
No other details about the situation have been released at this time.
