The toddler injured during a drive-by shooting in South Sacramento Tuesday night is in critical condition, according to the Sheriffs Department.
The incident took place at 9:30 p.m. on the 7400 block of Della Circle near 68th Avenue and Power Inn Road.
During the shooting, a 3-year-old was hit. The toddler is currently receiving medical attention at a local hospital.
The young child was reportedly inside its home when shots were fired from outside.
No other injuries related to the shooting have been reported.
Police are investigating, but haven't released suspect information at this time.
