Stockton Shooting Leaves One Dead And Injures Young Child

A shooting in Downtown Stockton killed one man and injured two other people Monday night.

Police responded to calls about shots fired near Cal Park Liquors on Park Street and N California Street at 7:20 p.m. When they got to the scene, they found a 19-year-old male two blocks from where the shooting happened. He was taken to the hospital for gunshots wounds, but did not survive.

A 5-year-old boy and a 28-year-old were hit by stray bullets and taken to the hospital for treatment. Both are expected to live.

Police do not have any suspects yet and are still trying to find a motive.
