Three California Highway Patrol members helped deliver a baby on a Vacaville freeway early Friday morning.
A sergeant spotted a vehicle driving irregularly on eastbound Interstate 80 at 3 a.m. and enlisted the help of two officers in making a stop.
When the vehicle pulled over, the driver informed them that the woman sitting in the passenger seat was pregnant and in active labor.
With no time to wait, the officers helped the dad-to-be deliver the baby on the side of the freeway.
After giving birth, the family was transported to a nearby hospital by the Vacaville Fire Department.
