Fairfield Police Host Haunted Hotel to Help Area Youth

The Fairfield Police Department is helping out area youth by hosting a haunted hotel. Money from ticket sales will go to the department's PALS program.

Sgt. Troy Oviatt with the Fairfield Police Department said they work hard to make sure Fairfield teens have a safe place to go after school.

"We want them to have a comfortable place where they can learn the skills to be successful adults of tomorrow," Oviatt said. 

In late August, 16-year-old Ahmar Willis was shot and killed near Armijo High School.

"Kids that don't have safe options sometimes get caught up in events and activities that can lead to poor decisions," Oviatt said. 

Sgt. Oviatt said that incident had a tremendous impact on the community. 

Money from the haunted hotel will go to programs that focus on improving the leadership, career planning, health and academics of Fairfield teenagers.

sKreamZ Haunted Attractions, voted one of the top five haunts of Northern California, has teamed with Fairfield PAL and invites you to enjoy a visit to its pop-up haunted hotel at the FEARfilled Haunted Hotel, located at 1795 Pennsylvania Ave, Fairfield, Ca. 

The FEARfilled Hotel, a sKreamZ managed hotel, continues to strike the balance between its storied past and limitless scares.  Classic crown molding is juxtaposed against contemporary frights.  Unrivalled luxury and haunts are complemented by fiendish staff and service; all dying to make your visit truly horrifying. 

The FEARfilled Haunted Hotel opens October 5, 2018. 

The opulent Grand Ballroom and Library Room have been meticulously restored to their original gruesomeness, continuing to host many of California’s most memorable scares, which are at the heart of the FEARfilled Hotel’s legacy. 

The FEARfilled Hotel will welcome guests starting on Friday, October 5 and run October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 25-27 and 30-31 between 7p.m.–10p.m.  

General admission is $12 per person, $10 for students, military and EMS.  All participants will be required to sign a tour waiver and parental guidance is recommended for anyone under age 14.   Parents are advised not to bring students under 10.  No refunds or exchanges will be possible. 

Participants should be advised that your visit will feature enclosed spaces, special effects lighting, gore and horror that is designed to cause fright and nightmares. Tickets are available at the door. 

Halloween should be scary but paying your college tuition and preparing for your career should not be! This Halloween attraction aims to scare and raise funds for the Fairfield Police Activities League (PAL) College, Leadership, and Career Preparation program.
