A man and woman are in jail after they tried to flee a traffic stop last night in Roseville.
Donald Buchanan and Julie Jones led Placer County deputies on a pursuit that quickly ended when a spike strip flattened their tires.
Buchanan ran from the car while the driver, Jones, was arrested. Buchanan had a felony warrant for his arrest. He was later rooted out of hiding by a police K-9.
He is charged with possessing drugs and burglary tools and is not eligible for bail. Jones' bail is 50-thousand-dollars.
