Authorities in Alpine County are searching for a missing hiker.
Bradford Dozier of Elk Grove was last seen Friday night, and did not return home as planned Saturday night. The man's car was located on Sunday near the Evergreen Trailhead.
Search efforts have focused on the Lower Blue Lake Campgrounds near Kirkwood. As overnight low temperatures plummet, there is more of a concern about the man's well being.
Multiple agencies are using helicopters, dog teams, and mounted horses to expand their search efforts.
Dozier is described as 5 feet, 10 inches and about 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, authorities said.
When he was last seen, Dozier was wearing a dark-green long-sleeved shirt, olive-colored hiking pants and hiking footwear.
Police asked anyone with information on Dozier's whereabouts to contact the Alpine County Sheriff's Office at 530-694-2231.
