SeaQuest Greeted With PETA Protesters at Grand Opening in Folsom

The official grand opening for Seaquest, the interactive aquarium at Folsom's Palladio was at 10am Tuesday morning, and about two dozen PETA protesters decided to show up.

PETA says former SeaQuest employees have alleged neglect and abuse. Starvation where hundreds of animals died, and could have been prevented, was one of the allegations.

The owner of SeaQuest, Vince Covino, has denied the charges saying that at least one of them came from a disgruntled former employee.

This is the fifth SeaQuest location in the nation, and lines were wrapped around the Palladio, at their soft grand opening over the weekend.
