23-year-old Deashawn Stevenson of Elk Grove was arrested after attempting to break into two residences on Saturday morning.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, a Spring House Way resident caught Stevenson trying to break into his home. After fleeing the scene officers later detained Stevenson.
Officers responded to a second report of attempted burglary on Summer Sun Way that took place earlier that same morning. Officers confirmed the man in surveillance video was also Stevenson.
