Former Placer County Assemblywoman Announces her Candidacy for State Senate

Former California Assemblywoman Beth Gaines is looking to be the next to represent California's First Senate District.  The wife of incumbent Senator Ted Gaines officially declared her candidacy for an upcoming special election on Thursday’s edition of the KFBK Afternoon News. 

She talks about why she’s running and shares her legislative priorities:


Assemblymen Kevin Kiley and Brian Dahle are also running for the seat - as is Rex Hime, President and CEO of the California Business Properties Association.  It's being vacated in January by Senator Ted Gaines who won election to the State's Board of Equalization in the November election.
