Investigators suggest a Mexican passenger jet may have been struck by a drone during a flight from Guadalajara to Tijuana on Wednesday. According to Grupo Aeromexico, the 737 had no problem landing, and there were no reports any injuries to the passengers, but pictures on social media show significant damage to the nose of the plane.
An Aeromexico spokesperson said they do not know the exactly what caused a loud bang heard during the flight, but investigators are considering the possibility that drone did smash into the plane.
