Golden Gate Bridge Toll Hike Next Year

Tolls on the Golden Gate Bridge are going up next year, but the public will have a chance to say by how much.  The Board of Directors for the bridge are in the process of scheduling three public meetings about the toll hikes.  There will also be an online forum for those unable to attend the meetings.  The Board wants the public to comment on a number of rate hike proposals.  One proposal would charge FastTrak users a little over eight-dollars, while pay-as-you-go vehicles would spend close to ten-dollars to cross the span.  The new tolls will take effect on July 1st, 2019.
