9-1-1 Callers Told No Need To Evacuate Paradise

In recently released 9-1-1 calls obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle people in Paradise, California were told there was no threat to that town from what was to be dubbed the Camp Fire.

As ABC news reports, caller after caller expressed concern, but they were told by dispatchers with the Paradise Police Department that there was no evacuation order.

It was less than an hour later when flames stared racing through Paradise.

86 people died in the Camp Fire. 14-thousand homes destroyed.
