Sacramento Police arrested a teenage boy early this morning and charged him with making terrorist threats to "shoot up or bomb" several schools in the area. The threats were allegedly made via social media. Police were made aware Monday night that threats on Instagram were going viral, with police stations and school resource officers getting more than 100 calls about the posts.

Police took a teenage suspect into custody at about 3:00 a.m. They're not releasing his name because he's underage, and they say there is not a credible threat at this time.
