The current storm is causing many flooding issues all over Northern California, with the worst of it happening in the city of Guerneville. It has been described as "officially an island," as the Russian River could reach it's highest point in 25 years. The river likely will crest at more than 46 feet by Wednesday night, with 4,000 residents of Guerneville evacuated so far. Surrounding towns like Monte Rio are also affected by flooded roads and mudslides.
