Becerra: No Criminal Charges Against Officers In Stephon Clark Shooting

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra reveals results of Stephon Clark investigation

Attorney General Xavier Becerra says there is no evidence to suggest that criminal charges should be filed against the Sacramento Police Officers who shot and killed Stephon Clark on March 18, 2018.

Attorney General Becerra's investigation was independent of Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert's investigation. She announced on Saturday that there are no legal grounds for charging the officers who shot Clark. There have been protests and arrests since that decision.
