Kaiser Investing Millions To Combat Homelessness

Kaiser Permanente is investing three-million-dollars over the next three years to address homelessness in more than a dozen communities including Sacramento.

The money is addressing the need for stable and affordable housing, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Health officials say there is a proven link between housing and health.

They say mortality rates for the chronically homeless are three-to-four times that of the general public.
