CA Jury Rules That Roundup Weedkiller Caused Man's Cancer

A jury is ruling that chemicals in Roundup weed killer were a substantial factor in a California man's cancer. The jury now has to decide whether Roundup's owner, Bayer AG, is liable for Edwin Hardeman's non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. In the next phase of the case, the jury could also award damages to Hardeman.

This is the second time a case against Roundup has gone to trial. Last year, another California man was award nearly 300-million-dollars after a jury decided that Roundup caused his cancer. Those damages were later lowered to 78-million-dollars.
