Razor Wire Stolen From Border Wall Used To Defend Tijuana Homes

Some razor wire stolen from the border wall is being used to help defend homes. People have been stealing the newly installed concertina wire, which is a type of barbed wire, and putting it around their homes in Tijuana due to the recent rise in crime. About 20 people have been arrested in connection to the stolen wire.

The group Citizens' Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice recently named Tijuana the most violent city in the world in 2018, as low level drug dealers fight and kill for territory in the city.

On Monday some of the stolen wire was being replaced.
