Sam Shane Named Morning Co-Anchor/Host For the KFBK Morning News

News 93.1 KFBK, announced last week that Sam Shane has been named co-anchor/host of The KFBK Morning News, airing weekdays from 5-9 a.m., effective April 1st.

Shane will be joining co-host Cristina Mendonsa to deliver the latest local, national and breaking news and analysis. In addition to reporting on-air, Sam’s coverage will be featured on the station’s website KFBK.com and through the station’s social media channels.

Shane has more than 30 years of experience in broadcast journalism and investigative reporting. His career included stints at KCRA-TV and CBS 13 Sacramento, KGO-TV San Francisco, Fox TV Seattle and as a national anchor for MSNBC.
