Hundreds Of Potential Jurors Being Screened For Oakland Ghost Ship Trial

Danielle Boudreaux, who knew the man who rented out the Ghost Ship warehouse for parties and was a frequent visitor herself, was phootgraphed as she mourned next to a makeshift memorial near the site of the deadly warehouse fire.

Jury selection is underway in the high profile Ghost Ship trial in Oakland. Over 300 potential jurors have already filled out questionnaires, and Judge Trina Thompson said 160 more will likely be asked to do the same on Thursday. Thompson added that another 80 people could be called in next week.

Defendants Derick Almena and Max Harris face 36 counts of involuntary manslaughter in the 2016 deadly warehouse fire that housed an artist collective known as Ghost Ship.
