Dave Joerger is out as head coach and General Manager Vlade Divac has a new deal in after the Sacramento Kings' latest front-office shakeup.
After receiving a four-year extension to stay on as general manager, Divac announced Joerger's firing following a 39-43 season that marked the franchise's highest win total since it last reached the playoffs in 2005-06.
Joerger had a 98-148 record over three seasons in Sacramento for a franchise which still owns the NBA's longest active postseason drought.
Divac, who took over prior to the 2015-16 season, will remain under contract through 2023.
