NFL Hopeful Bosa Deleted Negative Kaepernick Tweets Ahead Of Draft

Potential first-round pick Nick Bosaa is backpedaling on some controversial tweets he's posted ahead of the NFL draft.

Among the tweets in question are some which show strong support for President Trump and one in 2016 critical of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and his stand on social justice. In the 2016 tweet he call Kaepernick "a clown."

The 21-year-old Bosa told ESPN that he had tone down the social media rhetoric because "(there) is a chance I might end up in San Francisco." The 49ers hold the second pick in the draft behind the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are said to be very interested in Oklahoma's Heisman Tropy-winning quarterback Kyler Murray.

Still, Bosa, a defensive end from Ohio State, also is expected to be a top-three pick.

Bosa is being called out by some on social media he suggest he is a closet racist.

However, there have been some posts in support of Bosa's political views.
