Cyclists start Stage One of the Amgen Tour of California race in Sacramento Sunday afternoon.
The 89-mile first stage will begin near the State Capitol, and head west over the Tower Bridge into West Sacramento and Yolo County before returning to midtown Sacramento for the finish.
Monday's Stage Two will take the riders from Rancho Cordova up to South Lake Tahoe.
Stage Three starts next Tuesday in Stockton.
The seven stage route will continue south and finish in Pasadena on Saturday, May 18th.
