California Suing Trump Over Green Card Changes

The Trump administration has been the target of multiple lawsuits recently, and California is adding another one to the pile. This time over the changes made to the public charge rule, making it harder for immigrants to receive a green card if they use services like food stamps or Medicaid. Trump's Administration argues that immigrants who want to apply for legal residency in the United States, should be self-sufficient. California Attorney General Xavier Bacerra argues the rule is unconstitutional by targeting non-white immigrants.
