The recent snow storms has business booming at Sierra ski resorts right now, and it should get even busier with more snow in the forecast over the next couple of days. The folks at Kirkwood Mountain Resort say they received the most snowfall at 48-inches over the weekend. Snow reports also show Sierra-at-Tahoe got 32-inches of fresh powder and Northstar got 29-inches.
Route 88 is closed over the Carson Pass. Chains are needed on parts of I-80, highway 50, and route 89.
