A San Diego man is under arrest after YouTube posts showing him pointing assault weapons at people from a hotel room in the downtown area of the city. Authorities say the videos show Steve Homoki rehearsing a domestic terrorist attack. He was subsequently arrested on felony weapons charges.
Police said they seized over a dozen guns from Homoki's home, including two "assault-style" rifles. The investigation into his actions came after an unnamed person told police that Homoki had "gone off the deep end."
Investigators claim Homoki's state of mind is made clear in videos that person apparently posted for him last September showing him in a hotel room pointing assault rifles at people outside who were unaware of what he was doing.
