Man Walks Inside San Francisco Safeway And Defecates On The Floor

Human waste is becoming a big problem on the streets of San Francisco, but one man in the Marina District to take of his business inside a local business. Last weekend the man was spotted defecating in the toilet paper aisle of a Safeway, then he made use of some of the nearby toilet paper before walking next door to a Starbucks.

San Francisco Supervisor Matt Haney is on record with KRON TV as saying, "This is a national embarrassment." He is pushing city leaders to do more to curb the problem. Last year Mayor London Breed told NBC Bay Area that she's never seen more feces on the streets of her city, and she's lived there much of her lifetime.

Earlier this year we told you about the "poop map" which shows the areas where up crews have cleaned up after people used the street, sidewalk or other public place to relieve themselves. The San Francisco Public Works Department reports that in 2018 alone there were just over 28,000 human feces incidents.
