House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is getting unwanted social media attention for a coronavirus faux pas during the Thursday vote on more money for the Payroll Protection Program meant to help struggling businesses continue to pay employees.
During a floor speech, the California Democrat, who had pulled down a cloth face mask to speak, wiped her nose with her hand, then she placed that same hand on the podium.
Twitter has also featured posts with pictures of House members improperly wearing face masks during the Thursday debate.
