A lot parents and their kids are bracing for the start of the "distanced" school year! A good education is a great start to a bright future! Unfortunately, many children in our community lack the resources for proper supplies, especially for distance learning. For children in underserved households, getting supplies like a new notebook and pen can be hard, and can help boost their confidence and self-esteem and set them on a path to success.
The radio stations of iHeartMedia Sacramento (News 93.1 KFBK, 93.7 The River, V101.1, 92.5 The Breeze, Talk 650 and 107.1 The Bull) are teaming up with SMUD, the CA State Fair, and the Sacramento Republic FC to collect donations for the kids at the Sacramento Children's Home for SMUD Giving Monday School Supply Drive!
