San Francisco Mayor Now Taking Heat Over A French Laundry Dinner

San Francisco Mayor London Breed is being criticized for reportedly attending a dinner party at the French Laundry in Yountville, just one day after Governor Gavin Newsom did the same. Breed's spokesman confirms the mayor was one of eight people celebrating a local socialite's 60th birthday at the now infamous Napa Valley restaurant in a partially enclosed room on November 7th. At that time, Napa County allowed eight people to dine indoors, but it would have been two more people than Breed's own city allowed.

It was only three days after her meal at the French Laundry that Breed issued an order banning all indoor dining in her city, stating that "every San Franciscan should do their part" to stem the spread of coronavirus.
