CA Changes Length For Self Isolation Period

California is revising the amount of time required to be in quarantine after being exposed to COVID-19.

The newest guidelines only require ten days in self-isolation instead of the previous 14 day rule. Governor Gavin Newsom made the changes to the public health department guidance Tuesday. Newsom is also changing the quarantine time for exposed healthcare workers, first responders, and social workers from ten days to seven days if they test negative on the fifth day.
