District nine Assemblyman Jim Cooper says he's considering a second run for Sacramento County Sheriff in 2022.
Cooper represents part of the greater Sacramento area and worked for the Sheriff's department for 30 years before retiring to run for his current position in the Assembly. Current Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones told the Sacramento Bee he has yet to decide if he will seek a fourth term.
