Negotiations on a new coronavirus relief deal are heating up.
NBC News is reporting that congressional leaders and the White House are nearing agreement on a $900 billion package. The pending deal would not include two controversial provisions involving additional aid for cities and states and liability shields for businesses. It may include direct stimulus payments to Americans in the range of $600 each.
