The Department of Homeland Security says a cyber attack connected to Russia continues to pose a "grave risk" to the government and the private sector.
The department's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued a bulletin yesterday warning of the risk. Officials are reviewing security breaches at the Department of Energy, including the National Nuclear Security Administrations, which oversees the U.S. nuclear weapon stockpile. A DOE spokesperson said a probe into the incident is "happening in real time," and that so far, the malware has been isolated to business networks only.
