The Petaluma-based "A California Christmas" is now out on Netflix. The romantic comedy, which was the first production to be shot in the Bay Area during the pandemic, stars Lauren and Josh Swickard, a real-life married couple who met in Petaluma. The movie also features Ali Afshar, an actor and race car driver who grew up in Petaluma.
The Netflix special is about a San Francisco trust fund baby who pretends to be someone else in order to buy a farm in time for the company's holiday party.
