Data from a survey of small businesses in California paints a dire picture.
The Small Business Majority released the results of their survey showing 28% of owners may have to close their doors in the next 90 days, but only temporarily. However, 17% said they would close up for good. The pandemic, along with stay-at-home orders enacted to decrease surges in COVID-19 cases are hitting small businesses especially hard. Small Business Majority vice president Mark Herbert said owners report they "have been pushed to their limit" as revenues remain in the doldrums.
