An El Dorado Hills man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for impersonating an ICE agent to steal money from construction workers.
Patrick Mullany was sentenced yesterday. Investigators say Mullany would drive to construction sites, claim he was an ICE agent, then handcuff workers while stealing cash and threaten to deport them. Officials say he was caught after he went to the same construction site twice.
