Placer County Students Rally Against Spending More Time On Campus

Hundreds of students in Placer County are rallying against spending more time on campus.

Roseville students are calling on the Roseville Joint Union High School District to delay its plans to reopen schools five days a week and continue its hybrid schedule. They explained that they want to protect their teachers and the community during the coronavirus surge in the region. Woodcreek High School students collected more than three-thousand signatures in a petition against the district's new reopening plan.

The district voted last week to allow its eleven-thousand students back on campus five days a week for a total of 280 minutes of in-person instruction each day.
