Facebook is blocking President Trump from posting on the social media app until Inauguration Day.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg said yesterday's shocking events prove that Trump plans to spend his remaining time in office undermining President-elect Joe Biden. Zuckerberg wrote that Trump used the platform to "condone rather than condemn" his supporters' behavior. He says they removed Trump's posts and blocked his account because they judged they would "provoke further violence." The company is extending the block on Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts "indefinitely" until the peaceful transition of power is complete.
